Poetry Bowl - Second
Illustrated Bowl — “Collector of Lost Feathers” (Slight Defect)
Hand-formed in stoneware, this illustrated bowl tells a story in line and form. Around the inside runs the text:
“Collector of lost feathers, acorn caps, fallen cones and quiet moments in the wild.
She lays amongst waves of soft grasses, shares wild whispers with the trees,
tells secrets to the wren, sits by the stream, deep in dream.”
The bowl features cottages, birds, pine trees, and seed heads — each painted by hand.
There is a small glaze cloud beneath the cottage which lightly veils part of the writing. The piece is slightly more irregular in shape than my usual forms but remains entirely unique.
Details:
• Hand-formed stoneware bowl
• Hand-illustrated with underglaze and oxide
• Approx. 26 cm diameter
• Text and imagery inspired by the land and wild places
• Small glaze clouding (reflected in price)
A story of wild places and quiet hearts, captured in clay.
